This is a fortified wine that is only produced on the Portuguese island of Madeira. It is obtained by dry fermentation of Tinta Negra grapes (from vineyards at an altitude of around 500 m) and a heating process in "estufas". The liqueur wine undergoes a special production process over a period of 3 months, which gives the Madeira wine its unique character and caramel-like taste. The Tinta Negra grape variety is mainly used to produce this dry Madeira, resulting in a fruity, golden wine with a dry finish. Madeira Marvilha - Fine Medium Dry is the youngest Madeira wine. It is made from wine that has been aged for at least 3 years in oak barrels. Fine Medium Dry is a wine with a dry fruit aroma, a light, soft mouthfeel, a balanced mouthfeel and a long, dry finish.
