Quinta do Crasto Finest Reserve Port is a Ruby Reserve Port wine from Portugal. This bottling comes from the Douro and shows a fresh, fruity and balanced Port character with clear red berry fruit.
The Port is made from grapes grown on old vines and, according to the producer, matures for an average of 3 years in large Portuguese oak vats. This preserves its lively fruit while adding a rounded and pleasantly structured depth.
In the glass, Quinta do Crasto Finest Reserve shows a vibrant ruby colour. On the nose, red berries, forest fruits and balsamic hints come forward. On the palate, it is smooth, full bodied and balanced with fine, round tannins and fresh fruit.
The finish is fresh, harmonious and lingering. This Ruby Reserve Port pairs well with chocolate desserts, cheese, nuts, red fruits or as a sweet finish after a meal.
