Benromach Contrasts Triple Distilled 2011/2022 Speyside Whisky 46%vol. 0,7 Liter

Benromach is a whisky distillery in Forres, Moray, Scotland, United Kingdom. With its first Higland Gin, the distillery expands its portfolio and shows with the outstanding gin that it not only produces excellent single malt whiskies.

Benromach Contrasts Triple Distilled 10 Year Old 2011/2022 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the Contrasts range of Benromach Distillery. This bottling shows a special side of the distillery, as triple distillation is rather uncommon in Scotland.

The whisky was distilled in 2011, bottled in 2022 and matured in first fill bourbon barrels. During production, the spirit passes once through the wash still and twice through the spirit still. This creates a lighter, smoother style with fruity sweetness and gentle smoke.

On the nose, it shows tropical fruits, malt biscuit, vanilla pod and toasted oak. On the palate, ripe banana, poached pear, green apple and sweet honey combine with a fine smoky note that remains typical of Benromach.

The finish is medium to long, full bodied and shaped by citrus zest with a hint of soft smoke. Benromach Contrasts Triple Distilled is well suited for sipping neat, with a few drops of water or for drinkers looking for a fruity Speyside whisky with subtle smoke.
