1800 GuachiMonton is a special añejo tequila from Mexico, celebrating the heritage of the Tequila region in Jalisco. The bottling is inspired by Los Guachimontones, the circular pyramids built from red clay soil, the same rich ground associated with the cultivation of high quality blue Weber agave.
The tequila first matures in American and French oak barrels. It is then finished in orange tequila liqueur casks, a reference to the orange trees that were once cultivated in this part of Jalisco.
In the glass, 1800 GuachiMonton shows an amber colour with golden nuances and coppery reflections. On the nose, fresh citrus notes, orange, honey, caramel, vanilla, oak and ripe fruit come together.
On the palate, the tequila is velvety, smooth and pleasantly bitter. The finish is fresh, persistent and shaped by a fine orange note. The ceramic keepsake bottle and gift packaging also make this bottling visually distinctive.
