Aberlour is a whiskey distillery in Charlestown of Aberlour, Speyside. It is currently owned by Chivas Brothers Ltd., a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard, France.

Aberlour Casg Annamh Batch 0004 is a powerful Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. The name Casg Annamh means rare cask in Gaelic and refers to the careful cask selection behind this sherry led expression.

The whisky is bottled at 48% vol. and matures in selected Oloroso sherry casks made from Spanish oak, supported by casks made from American oak. This creates a full bodied, fruity and spicy character with a clear cask influence.

On the nose, it shows blood orange, glazed cherries, ginger, sweet spices and ripe fruit. On the palate, Aberlour Casg Annamh Batch 0004 is rounded and intense with apple, peach, cinnamon, cloves, anise, sherry sweetness and spicy liquorice.

The finish is long, full bodied and pleasantly sweet spicy. The 1 litre bottle is especially suitable for lovers of fruity Speyside whiskies with a strong sherry cask note and higher drinking strength.
