Akashi is the official whiskey of the White Oak Distillery and contains 30% malt whiskey and 70% grain whiskey. Matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads for 3 years and fresh white oak barrels for 2 years. It is a Japanese blended Whiskey.
Akashi Meïsei is a Japanese blended whiskey, a special edition from the White Oak distillery. Meïsei is made from 45% barley malt and matures for 3 years in American oak barrels.
It is rich on the nose, round and sweet in the mouth. He reveals wonderful notes of oak, vanilla and sweet spices in this edition.
