Caol Ila 18 Years is a smoky Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky with a complex character and a clear maritime influence. Matured in ex bourbon casks, it brings together powerful peat smoke, spicy oak and a pleasantly velvety body.
On the nose, this whisky reveals spicy oak notes, smoky peat and maritime hints of seaweed and salt. The impression is slightly oily and intense. On the palate, Caol Ila 18 Years shows complex depth with bold peat smoke, a touch of oak and fine salty nuances.
The finish is balanced and rounded. Intense notes of peat and wood remain present for a long time, highlighting the typical Islay character of this matured single malt.
