Dalmore is a whiskey distillery in Alness, Highland, Scotland. The Dalmore has always set the highest standards in whiskey craftsmanship. The Dalmore 13 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the exclusive Dalmore Anthology range. This expression was created for selected airports and travel retail, showing the typical Dalmore character with fruity depth, sweet cask spice and a fine sherry note.

The whisky is first matured in former bourbon barrels made from American white oak. It is then finished in rare Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, where it matures for up to two years according to the producer.

On the nose, it shows oranges, golden syrup, vanilla and a hint of pâtisserie spice. On the palate, sweet pecans, honey, dates and dark chocolate unfold.

The finish is shaped by dried fruit and a warm spice note. The Dalmore 13 Year Old is well suited for sipping neat, with a few drops of water or as a special travel edition for fans of fruity sweet Highland single malts.
