The company is based in Glasgow, Scotland A marriage of Islay Single Malts, bottled at 48% ABV with no chill filtration and no coloring. Islay distilleries are known for their predominantly peaty, smoky character, offering all variations on the ash, beach fire, coal dust and tar theme. Big Peat embodies the boundless spirit of Islay in a bottle.

Sweet malty notes with dried peat aroma rise into the nose. On the palate notes of ash, sweet tar, beaches and smoking chimneys are noticed. The finish is long and persistent. It replicates the palate with salty, spicy liquorice, smoke, campfire ash and a phenolic quality.
