Edradour is a Scottish whiskey distillery and was founded in 1825. It lies in a small valley, hidden by the surrounding mountains, east of the village of Pitlochry and was for a long time the smallest whiskey distillery in Scotland. Originally the distillery was called Glenforres. Edradour is the last original 'farm' distillery with very traditional equipment. The stills are the smallest in Scotland and that must add to the unmistakable richness of the malt.

Edradour 10 Year Old Distillery Edition Oloroso Sherry Casks 200 Years Edition is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the traditional Edradour Distillery in Pitlochry. This bottling was released for the distillery's more than 200 year history and shows the classic sherry driven Edradour character in natural form.

According to the official information, the whisky matured 100% in Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 46% vol. It is non chill filtered, natural in colour, and was distilled, matured and bottled at Edradour.

On the nose, it shows dried fruits, Oloroso sherry and almonds. On the palate, the whisky is full bodied, spicy and pleasantly sweet with Christmas cake, golden syrup, honeyed almonds, raisins, nuts, nutmeg and cinnamon.

The finish is smooth, warming and shaped by oak, soft spices and lasting sherry sweetness. Edradour 10 Year Old 200 Years Edition is well suited for sipping neat or with a few drops of water for drinkers who enjoy bold Oloroso notes and traditional Highland single malt.
