Glenfarclas 2010 Christmas Edition is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Speyside. This limited bottling comes from Glenfarclas Distillery and is presented in a gift box.
The whisky was distilled in 2010 and matured in Oloroso sherry casks. This gives it a rich sherry character with dark fruit, fine spice and pleasant sweetness.
On the nose, it shows notes of sherry, gingerbread, Christmas cake, spices and ripe fruit. On the palate, the whisky is full bodied and warming, with hints of honey, dried fruit, herbs, sweet spice and fine oak.
The finish is long, spicy and pleasantly warm, with lingering sherry sweetness. At 46% vol., Glenfarclas 2010 Christmas Edition is especially well suited for sipping neat in a nosing glass or with a few drops of water.
