Glenfiddich is a whiskey distillery near Dufftown in the former County of Banffshire in Scotland. Glenfiddich is one of the largest single malt producers in Scotland. With the help of his nine children and a stonemason, William Grant fulfills his lifelong dream and builds a distillery that he does named after the nearby Deer Valley "" Glenfiddich "". After only one year, on Christmas Eve 1887, the first drop of whiskey flowed out of the copper stills.

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Rum Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky and a travel exclusive bottling in the 1 litre bottle. It combines the fruity smooth Glenfiddich house style with an additional maturation in rum casks.

The single malt first matures for 12 years in American oak casks. It then receives a finish in selected rum casks from Guatemala. This adds tropical sweetness, warm oak notes and gentle spice to the classic Glenfiddich character.

On the nose, it shows fresh green fruits, vanilla and light sweetness. On the palate, the whisky is smooth, fruity and rounded with tropical notes, toasted oak, fine spice and pleasant rum sweetness.

The finish is smooth, sweetish and pleasantly long. Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Rum Cask Finish can be enjoyed neat, over ice or with a few drops of water.
