Glenfiddich is a whiskey distillery near Dufftown in the former county of Banffshire, Scotland. Glenfiddich is one of Scotland’s largest single-malt producers. With the help of his nine children and a stonemason, William Grant fulfilled his lifelong dream and built a distillery, which he named “Glenfiddich” after the nearby Valley of the Deer. After just one year, on Christmas Eve 1887, the first drop of whiskey flowed from the copper stills.
