Glengoyne is a whiskey distillery south of Killearn, Scotland, in the Campsie Hills in the southern Highlands. Bold, complex flavors from the slowest stills in Scotland only matured in the best of casks. Glengoynewhiskys' various bottlings have won awards around the world Only traditional methods and raw materials are used for aging. Only American or Spanish oak is used for the barrels. Most of them come from Jerez in Spain, where premium sherry was previously made.

Glengoyne 18 year old Highland single malt whiskey has been stored in first fill sherry casks for over 18 years, giving it a wonderful fruity, spicy note.

An abundance of red apple and ripe melon. This heavenly, balanced aroma gives way to the scent of hot porridge garnished with brown sugar. The taste of nuts also develops into a note of marzipan and the impression of English orange jam brings a bit of bitterness to the overall picture. The finish is long and warm, with the bitterness of orange peel still having an effect.
