Glenmorangie is a whiskey distillery in Tain in the Northern Highlands of Scotland and probably one of the most famous whiskey distilleries. The malt used in the production is unpeated so that no smoke aromas detract from the mild fruity character of the Glenmorangie whiskey. The distillery uses Mainly American oak barrels. First, the raw spirit is filled in (mostly first fill) bourbon barrels for 10 years. Then the whiskey is decanted into bourbon barrels, sherry barrels, port pipes or Sauternes barrels for the finish. Glenmorangie achieves a great variability in the whiskey range.
Glenmorangie Aureum 21 Years is a refined Single Malt Whisky with a delicate and fruity character. It is crafted with the mineral rich waters of the Tarlogie Springs, a source closely connected to the distinctive style of Glenmorangie.
Distilled in Glenmorangie’s unusually tall stills, this whisky develops a light, luminous and aromatic profile. Its fruity core is complemented by a smooth structure and a finely balanced drinking experience.
