Jack Daniel's is the brand name of a Tennessee whiskey from the small town of Lynchburg, Tennessee, USA. Jack Daniel's Distillery was officially founded in 1866. A few years later, the distillery moved to its current location to be closer to Jack Daniel's main resource: Spring Hollow's mineral-rich cave. Attention to detail in the making of whiskey begins with making your own charcoal to filter. It has the perfect blend of corn, rye and barley. Most importantly, this filtering process allows the whiskey to soak for about twelve days drop by drop through an approximately three meter thick layer of charcoal, which is produced on the premises of the distillery from sugar maple. This gives the whiskey its unforgettable and unique taste.

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye Whiskey 45% 0.7 Litre

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye Whiskey is a rye whiskey from Lynchburg, Tennessee. It combines the spicy character of rye with the well known smooth Jack Daniel's style.

The mash bill consists of 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. Before maturation, the whiskey is filtered through sugar maple charcoal. This process creates a smooth and rounded character that balances the bold rye spice.

On the nose, it shows notes of toasted oak, rye, ripe fruit and fine spice. On the palate, the whiskey is spicy, gently sweet and balanced, with hints of caramel, grain, pepper and wood.

The finish is smooth, spicy and pleasantly dry. At 45% vol., Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye Whiskey is well suited for sipping neat, over ice or as a bold base for classic whiskey drinks such as Old Fashioned, Manhattan or Whiskey Sour.
