Kilchoman is one of the younger whiskey distilleries in Scotland and one of nine active whiskey distilleries on the Hebridean island of Islay in Scotland.
Kilchoman Maury Cask Matured is a limited edition Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky fully matured in ex Maury fortified wine casks. This is not a finish but a full term maturation, giving the whisky its distinctive depth and character.
The rich sweetness of Maury casks from southern France meets Kilchoman’s signature profile of peat smoke and fresh citrus. The result is a layered combination of dates, raisins and dark honey sweetness, supported by notes of figs, salted caramel, orange peel and soft smoke.
