Peat's Beast Cask Strength is a powerful single malt Scotch whisky from Scotland for fans of intense peat smoke. Bottled at 52.1% vol., this expression shows the smoky character of Peat's Beast in a particularly bold form.
The distillery behind this whisky is not disclosed. This gives Peat's Beast its mysterious profile as a heavily peated Scotch with a direct, wild and highly aromatic presence.
On the nose, it shows intense smoke, peat, bonfire, maritime hints and fresh citrus. On the palate, the whisky is powerful, oily and well structured with strong peat smoke, pepper, damp mossy notes, ripe citrus fruit and light sweetness.
The finish is long, smoky and warm with a sweet vanilla finish. Peat's Beast Cask Strength is best enjoyed neat by experienced smoky whisky drinkers or with a few drops of water to open the cask strength.
