Sailor's Home The Horizon is an Irish blended whiskey made from malt and grain whiskey. It is matured for at least 10 years in former bourbon casks, then finished in Barbados rum casks.
On the nose you get ripe tropical fruits and brown sugar. The palate brings malty honey with oak, vanilla, rum notes and caramelised bananas. The finish leans toward toffee and orange zest.
