The Tamdhu Tasting Set is produced by the Tamdhu Distillery, which is located in the Speyside region of Scotland. The distillery was founded in 1897 and specializes in the production of single malt Scotch whiskies, which are primarily known for their maturation in high-quality sherry casks. Tamdhu is part of Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd, a family-run company that owns and operates a variety of whisky brands. Ian Macleod Distillers acquired Tamdhu Distillery in 2011 and has since reinvigorated the production of high quality whiskies, with a particular focus on traditional production methods and the exclusive use of Oloroso sherry casks.

Toll! Solche Probiersets bitte von jeder Destillerie!

Ja, Tamdhu, eine der Destillerien, die grade eine heisse Phase durchlaufen und angesagt sind unter den Enthusiasten. Der 12 jährige ist sehr gut, der 15 jährige toll und der 18 jährige...ja einfach phänomenal! Der beste mir bekannte 18 jährige Single Malt. Leider mit 145-180 Euronen auch nicht auf der günstigen Seite. Um so schöner ist es, die gesamte Tamdhu-Range in diesem kleinen Probierset für 30.- (incl. Versand) probieren zu können! 5cl pro Flasche sind auch angemessen, 2cl Proben sind wirklich zu wenig! Solche Probiersets sollte es viel mehr geben!
