Tamnavulin Distillery opened in 1966 on the banks of the River Livet, deep in the heart of Speyside, Scotland's most famous whiskey producing region. A small group of talented craftsmen began creating the distillery's signature Speyside malt over 50 years ago. Only selected ingredients were used, combined with centuries-old distilling Expertise.
Tamnavulin Oloroso Cask is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Scotland, first matured in American ex bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a smooth and approachable whisky with sweet, fruity and gently spiced layers.
On the nose, brown sugar, ginger biscuits, cinnamon rolls and raspberry jam meet a hint of toasted malt. The palate brings honeycomb, festive pastry notes, dried apricot, citrus peel and vanilla pod. The finish is soft and rounded, staying true to Tamnavulin’s classic Speyside character.
