The Pogues Irish Whiskey was created in collaboration with the legendary Irish folk-punk band The Pogues. The goal was to craft a whiskey that reflects the band’s raw energy, rebellious spirit and authentic Irish soul. Produced by a traditional Irish distillery, this whiskey merges handcrafted production with modern flavour Depth, resulting in a spirit full of character and identity.
The Pogues Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey 40% 0.7 Litre
The Pogues Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey is an Irish blend created in honour of the well known Folk Punk band The Pogues. It is produced by West Cork Distillers, one of Ireland’s independent distilleries, known for its craft focused approach and traditional distillation methods.
The whiskey is made from 50% Irish Single Malt and 50% Single Grain Whisky. This combination brings together the depth and complexity of single malt with the smooth and gentle character of single grain whiskey. A maturation period of three years and one day in oak casks gives the blend its balanced profile.
On the nose, The Pogues is mild with light malty notes. On the palate, it is sweet, smooth and intense, with flavours of malt and nuts. The finish is long lasting and completes the authentic Irish whiskey experience.
