Torabhaig Taigh Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46% 0.7 Litre

Torabhaig Taigh is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Skye and the first permanent core range expression from Torabhaig Distillery. In Scottish Gaelic, Taigh means house, and for Torabhaig it represents the distillery’s own house style with fine smoke and balanced aromatics.

The whisky is matured in a combination of first fill bourbon barrels, refill bourbon casks and selected Madeira casks. This brings together soft vanilla notes, light fruit, gentle spice and sweet cask accents with the typical Torabhaig smoke.

On the nose, it shows seaside smoke, flint smoke, earthy woodland notes, baked apple, maple syrup, raisins, cinnamon, clove and a hint of biscuit. On the palate, Torabhaig Taigh is smooth, lightly oily and pleasantly smoky with vanilla custard, toasted almonds and sweet dried fruits.

The finish is warm and lingering with toasted oak, vanilla, red fruits, cinnamon, clove and fine smoke. Torabhaig Taigh is well suited for sipping neat, with a few drops of water or as a characterful island whisky for fans of gently peated single malts.
