Traspers 15 Years Old Rum from Panama is an aged rum from Panama. This bottling combines long cask maturation with a smooth, sweet and richly aromatic character.
The rum matures for 15 years in American white oak casks and ex bourbon casks. This creates warm oak notes, gentle sweetness and a rounded profile with vanilla, caramel and darker dessert notes.
On the nose, it shows caramel, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar, chocolate, toffee, marzipan, nougat, berries, fruit cake, roasted notes and oak. On the palate, the rum is full bodied, creamy and sweet, with notes of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, ginger, crème brûlée and fine spice.
The finish is long, creamy and pleasantly spicy, with chocolate, nuts, oak and lingering sweetness. Traspers 15 Years Old Rum is especially well suited for sipping neat at room temperature or over a large ice cube.
