Wild Turkey is an American Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced at the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
This bourbon matured in selected oak barrels for 6 to 8 years. In addition, 81 American oak barrels were used for storage.
Notes of buttery corn, chocolate, caramel and ginger rise to the nose with some floral notes and vanilla. A light smoky note with caramel and vanilla is also noticeable. On the palate you then perceive some sweet notes of ripe fruit. Pepper and spices fill the long finish.
