Havana Club is a brand of Cuban rum that was launched in 1935. Rum is shaped by Cuba's climate, geography, history, and people, and is an integral part of the national culture. Havana Club is produced by Maestros del Ron Cubano using traditional Cuban methods and enjoyed by cantineros and rum drinkers around the world to the rhythm of the best Cuban music.
This classic Cuban rum is aged for three years in oak barrels, giving it its fresh, aromatic flavor. It is stored in white oak barrels that previously held whiskey (Jack Daniels).
This Havana Club rum is very spicy, with the taste and smell of vanilla and light sweet chocolate. Fruity aromas such as pear and banana can also be tasted. A slight sweetness from the sugar cane is accompanied by light fruity notes and a hint of citrus.
