1850 Thomas Hardy sailed from England to Australia. Already three years later, he planted his first vineyard on the shores of the River Torres in Adelaide and thus marked the foundation for one of the most famous and oldest Australian wine dynasties: Hardys. More than 160 years later, Bill Hardy in the 5th generation as a winemaker and ambassadors continues this passionate wine history. Hardys won more than 2800 awards for excellent wines over the past decade - from Down Under.

The bouquet is rich in aromas of raspberries, dark plums, underpinned by spices and vanillin iron barrel. He has notes of sweet, ripe plums and fruity berries. The wine is hearty, round and soft on the palate with subtle oak barrels. The wine has a soft, balanced tannin and is dry and still gentle in the finish.
