Banfi Col di Sasso Toscana Red Wine
Banfi Col di Sasso is one of the best known wines from Banfi and comes from Tuscany in Italy. Its name translates as “stony hill” and refers to the distinctive soils of the Banfi estate in Montalcino, where Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese are grown.
The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese creates a young, concentrated and fruit driven red wine with an intense ruby red colour. The bouquet is fresh and versatile, with spicy notes as well as aromas of raspberry and plum. On the palate, the wine is full bodied, soft and well balanced, making it pleasantly easy to enjoy.
Banfi Col di Sasso is a fine choice for relaxed wine moments, Mediterranean dishes, pasta, meat dishes or cheese. The recommended serving temperature is 18 °C.
