Dom Pérignon is a name of global renown, deeply rooted in the tradition and excellence of Champagne. Named after the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon, considered a pioneer of champagne-making, the house has long stood for uncompromising quality and artisanal mastery. Dom Pérignon is exclusively produced as a vintage champagne – only the best years are selected for vinification. The production is overseen by Moët & Chandon in Épernay, one of the most prestigious houses in the Champagne region.
The Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 is a champagne of remarkable character. The harvest that year was shaped by cool weather and a long ripening period, giving the wine exceptional depth and structure. The cuvée is composed of approximately 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir – a blend that unites freshness and power with elegant balance.
In the glass, the 2013 vintage reveals fine bubbles and a delicate golden shimmer. The nose unfolds with complex aromas: citrus fruits, white blossoms, toasted almonds, and a refined spiciness reminiscent of licorice and ginger. On the palate, it presents layers of flavor – stone fruit, tropical notes, toasted brioche, and floral nuances. The mousse is fine and persistent, the mouthfeel creamy yet vibrant. The finish is long, precise, and mineral – a true expression of elegance.
Dom Pérignon 2013 pairs beautifully with fine fish, shellfish, veal, mild cheeses, or truffle-based dishes. It offers excellent aging potential of up to 25 years, gaining in complexity and depth over time.
