The producer is Masi Agricola S.p.A., located in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, in the Veneto region of Italy.
Masi represents modern winemaking rooted in deep Venetian tradition – known for its innovation, premium quality, and the refined use of the Appassimento method, even in the production of white wines.
A new interpretation of white wine: Pinot Grigio with Appaxximento – a unique white blend made from fresh and semi-dried grapes. A finely tuned combination of two native grape varieties and carefully crafted winemaking techniques. The overripe Verduzzo (an unusual choice for an elegant white wine) is fermented in barriques, adding roundness and balance to the fresh acidity of the Pinot Grigio. The grapes are carefully selected from vineyards in Strà del Milione (Udine). The result is a white wine that offers great versatility in food pairings.
Masi Masianco – The Elegant White from Veneto
Masianco is a remarkable white wine from the renowned Masi estate in Veneto. This cuvée of Pinot Grigio and the indigenous Verduzzo grape elegantly combines international freshness with true Italian finesse.
While the Pinot Grigio lends lightness and vibrancy, the partially dried Verduzzo – vinified using the Appassimento method – brings structure, fullness, and aromatic depth. The result is a dry white wine with notes of citrus fruits, pear, melon, and a hint of honey, offering a soft, round, and harmonious palate.
An ideal companion to antipasti, fish, poultry, Asian cuisine, or simply well-chilled on a warm day.
